I've shared this before in your discord but kinda got shot down: In Did Someone Say Yoga, the current strat to avoid being drugged is to call Downtown Cab Co. and then Amanda twice, which have two different button sequences. The mission will force the phone down at the line "Fine, give it here", and will then periodically attempt to force the phone down every so often after that. The first time the game tries to force it down (at the line) is always successful, but attempts after that may fail depending on who you're calling. Calling Amanda is not immune to those subsequent attempts, leading to needing to make three calls over the drive. Calling *Trevor,* on the other hand, who is an up press away in the contacts, *is* immune to the subsequent attempts, leading to only two calls over the drive and an only slightly longer button sequence of up-A-up-A instead of up-A-A. Furthermore, calling Trevor lasts long enough to hit the voice line to force the phone down the first time, leading to a situation where calling Trevor twice is just simpler, as it's only a single short button sequence to drill into your mind. Now, the thing is, this is already pretty useless to current runners, as they've already trained themselves on the old strat, but for new runners, this is at least a little weight off of their minds, allowing them to better focus on the driving. Yes, there's no time save, but it should improve consistency for new runners.

10:49 So, four years later, I think I have an explanation for WHY the bomb strat doesn't work. Rockstar, of course, contains several game designers who hate freedom in their "carefully-crafted cinematic missions", and want you to shoot the guy, as the voice lines suggest with a "vantage point". So of course, the game checks if he's in your line of sight when he dies, and if he isn't, the game fails you as an oozing pile of meat somehow gets away alive, despite being literally killed a fraction of a second ago. Sloppy coding also results in the aforementioned softlock, which I imagine wouldn't happen if Rockstar wasn't a whiny baby about how it wants us to use a sniper rifle instead of the clearly superior bomb option that actual assassins will actually use in actual life. There **is** a silver lining, though: Due to how the check is coded, it doesn't matter *what* you use to kill him, only that you have line of sight to him when he dies, so sticky and/or prox bombs still work, at least in a casual sense; it's up in the air whether or not this is useful, or at least lowers the skill floor for speedrunning as you don't need to worry about aiming. I've used bombs in this mission before, it just doesn't want to lend itself well to speedrunning cuz "Muh sniper rifle".

The helicopter chase through the RON Alternates Windfarm during the Obvious Approach to the Big Score is a reference to the 2006 movie Mission: Impossible III. Both the movie and the game have you flying through a windfarm to evade pursuing helicopters, as well as rockets being fired to fend off the remaining choppers.
